“Increase is what all men and all women are seeking. It is the urge of the formless intelligence within them to find fuller expression.

Stay with me for today’s episode we talk about how leaving people better off than when you found them, can do a lot more for you than you might think in terms of attracting, joy, wealth, abundance and opportunities!  In fact, there is a whole chapter dedicated to this in the book ‘The Science of Getting Rich’.

And how do you do that when tensions might be running high as we approach the holiday season. So stay with me for today's episode where we'll talk about leaving people better off than when you found them, and how that can do a lot more for you than you might think in terms of attracting joy, wealth, abundance and opportunities. Hello, everybody, and welcome. I was inspired today just reading the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D wattles. And there are a couple of things that I took note on. And I wanted to read a few of these quotes because I think they really key in on the idea and this notion of leaving people better off than when you found them. There's so many reasons why it's a good idea to do that. Increase is what all men and women are seeking. It's the urge of the formless intelligent within them to find a fuller expression. So basically, you've heard me say before, we are made up of energy or spirit depending on what your beliefs are. And that spirit or energy is always striving to be the fullest expression of itself, and leaving people with the impression of increase helps us do that. A desire for increase is inherent in all nature. It's the fundamental impulse of the universe. All human activities are based on the desire for increase. People are seeking more food, more clothes, Better Shelter, more luxury, more beauty, more knowledge, more pleasure, more life. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's a good thing. Every living thing is under that necessity for continuous advancement, where increase of life ceases, dissolution and death set in at once. That's pretty dire. People instinctively know this, and hence they are forever seeking more, these are little excerpts from the science of getting rich. So basically, Wallace D, wattles teachings are telling us that, you know, we're human beings, we're spiritual beings, we're energy in a body and spirit is always meant for growth and expansion. And, in fact, the desire for growth and expansion are inherent in nature. You know, the flower wants to bloom, the acorn wants to grow into a tree. other living beings and creatures are nesting and creating a home growth and expansion. So it's a part of our DNA, it's a part of our nature, but reading about it isn't going to shape your life, understanding it on an intellectual level, isn't going to serve you, but internalizing this idea and making it a part of your essence, your daily way of being in your daily way of life is what is going to shift for things in your life for you. So simply stated, The to convey the impression of increase, it starts with wanting the best for others, the same things that you would want for yourself, it starts with a thought with a feeling. So not comparing yourself to others and not wishing harm or ill will on somebody else or secretly hoping somebody will fail. So you can do better. There's no competition, there's only creation. So leaving people with the impression of increase starts with your thinking, your thoughts, how do you feel about them, because wanting good and somebody else and seeing somebody else succeeds? means that you could succeed and have that good for yourself as well. It's not either or it's and that's the concept of it. So what could that look like? How could you start living and serving everyone leaving everyone better off than when you found them? Again, it starts in your mind. It starts with your thought by mentally sending love and healing to somebody. That's one way you could do it. I was just thinking of this book that I read a few years ago. It's called Proof of Heaven. And it's about a neurosurgeons experience with, he had he contracted bacterial meningitis, and he slipped into a coma. And he was in a coma for quite a while. And actually, the part of his brain that controls thought and emotion was completely shut off. But he shares this experience that he had when he was in the state of no brain activity. He was saying that he could feel and he could see people praying over him. And when he described the things that he saw the circumstances, those were things that were actually happening around him, people confirm that, so there was something going on with his energy. So I will leave it to you to check out that book Proof of Heaven. But that just goes to show you how the power of thought, the power of prayer, the power of well wishes, that power can have a tremendous impact on your energy. And if you think about it, think about the energy that you might get from somebody who isn't pleased with you, or they're irritated by you or you did something and it upset them, you can feel that energy. And as a consequence, when you leave that encounter, you might feel energetically depleted, or just off, something just doesn't feel right. The same is true when you send energy or you're in somebody's energy, who is just uplifting you whether it's in how they're communicating with you, I can remember talking with Bob Proctor, there is nobody better than him. When it comes to listening, when you're having a conversation one on one with him, there could be so many things going on around him. And there are because everybody wants to talk to him. But in that moment, there is nobody who's more important than you in that moment. So when he's having a conversation with you, he's paying attention, he's focused, there's nothing that's more important than receiving and hearing and listening to understand, then you know, that that's the most important thing to him. But when I walk away from that energy, or when I walk away from somebody who makes me feel valued, I feel uplifted. That's the power of leaving people with the impression of increase. So it, it stems from how you feel how you treat people in your thoughts, because they can feel it. And then the things that you're doing in the moment. So I want to give you some things that will help you adopt this concept and bring it into your life. And when you do, you're going to see magical things happen around you, I want you to practice this be deliberate. So here are a few things that you can do to get you into the spirit of it. Give people genuine compliments. That's really easy to do. Now, it might feel weird at first if you're not used to doing this. And you don't want to leave people with phony comments, but find something that you see in them that you admire. And maybe initially, it's how kind they are. Or they do something nice, and you want to thank them. Or maybe they just have beautiful eyes, or they have a beautiful sweater on and you want to compliment them on that. Do that and have it come from the heart. Another thing is, ask them questions about themselves. And then listen, be focused on what they're saying, Don't be multitasking. Give them your attention. And listen, not just to hear but to understand. Point out an accomplishment acknowledge their efforts. That's a huge thing. smile as much as possible and use their name and conversation. Does that feel good? When somebody says, Oh, you know, Laura, it's nice to meet you. They wouldn't say Laura to you. But I know how wonderful that it that feels when somebody acknowledges Me, remembers my name, and then says it out loud, celebrate their wins, and celebrate your wins, you can leave yourself with the impression of increase. Do your best in everything that you're doing. So set out and make the decision each and every day, that I'm going to be the best version of myself and I'm going to do things with excellence. I'm going to leave everything that I touch with the impression of increase. And then practice gratitude, which is something that we're going to be practicing in a few minutes. But the other thing that I want to suggest as we're approaching the holiday season, sometimes tensions can run a bit high. And sometimes we're placed in situations and we're connecting with people we haven't seen in a while. family situations that might be a little bit tumultuous. So you want to set yourself up for success. If you know that you're going to an event and there's a difficult relationship that you're you're To be kind of meeting up with in that gathering, what I would recommend is write a list of things that are great about that person, that difficult relationship. So if it's a long lost cousin, and you always get into it over the holidays, maybe write that list of six wonderful things about that cousin. So if if we're talking about universal laws, the law of polarity being one of them, saying that there's an opposite, a polar opposite to everything, there's an up or down and in and out, positive, negative, and nothing is all negative, nothing is all positive. And so give yourself an opportunity to focus on positive pole thinkings, no body is all bad. So even if you can say, oh, that person has nice eyes, I remember one time we laughed about this joke, just write down like five or six things that are good about that person. And when you're in that engagement, and you feel like you're starting to get triggered by conversations or something that

seems like oh, they're always falling into that habit. Oh, how careless, how rude. Excuse yourself, go get some air, go to the restroom, take a walk and pull that piece of paper out and read those six things. And then reengage you're resetting your energy, and I promise you, they will feel it. And by you not reacting to them, they are going to respond and react to you in a far more positive way, it's going to seem magical. So that's, that's my challenge for you during this holiday season. And anytime that you feel like you're about to have a difficult conversation with somebody, a boss, a colleague, a, you know a friend, whatever that may be, try this technique and it will work wonders for you. So we're going to get into a practice of gratitude and sending love and leaving people with the impression of increase right now. So we'll get some music playing in the background. But what I want you to do right now is just get comfortable wherever you are unless you're driving. And just have your feet firmly planted on the floor. And take a deep inhale through your nose. And exhale. Take a deep inhale through the nose. Hold it and exhale fully and completely. Take one more deep inhale, inhaling white healing light and energy and exhaling any tension or things or thought process he sees, oh, I'm having trouble tripping over my tongue this morning. But let it go. I'm letting it go. And I want you to bring to mind at least three things that you're grateful for. And if you have a pen and paper handy, you might even want to write those things down. We could be for something that happened today. Or if you remember from our episode on memory, it could be that you're expressing gratitude for something that has yet to happen, and you're expecting it. Next, I want you to energetically send love to somebody. Maybe it's somebody who needs some uplifting. Maybe it's somebody who's going through a difficult time. Bring them to your mind's eye and through your heart. Extend love to them just knowing that they're receiving exactly what they need to from you.

Next, just sit quietly for a couple of moments and ask for guidance for the day. How can you serve? How can you leave everyone and everything that you touch better off than when you found it

and any ideas, thoughts, inspirations or ideas for people you might connect with? Write them down and then follow through write those things down without judging. They might not make sense to you right now. But write them down. Anyway, that's inspired action. So how was that for you? This is an exercise that I do every single day. And it helps me get aligned with my purpose. And with doing the right things and showing up as the person I want to show up as, and this is a great way for you to energetically shift who you are what you attract your point of attraction when we're talking about the law of attraction and your focus, really.
